With around 100 employees dedicated to production and 24% with more than 15 years service, quality product and technical expertise is ensured at all times. Excellent long term relationships with our key suppliers of raw materials and components provide confidence in material quality as well as efficient manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Mineral Technologies' Australian facility is the world's largest manufacturing plant for gravity separators, producing over 20,000 starts per year on an automated production line. In-house manufacturing of key equipment such as fibreglass, polyurethane parts and electrical components are complimented by equipment assembly and a large machine workshop with refurbishment capabilities for most Mineral Technologies equipment.

The close relationship with our Research and Development department, as well as our Metallurgical Services Laboratory Facilities, ensures that Mineral Technologies manufacturing teams can react quickly and professionally to customer needs. Mineral Technologies has built a reputation based on excellent customer service, high quality manufacturing and on providing the right solution in equipment design and manufacturing. Mineral Technologies targets 3% of annual turnover for Research and Development. A dedicated team of Research & Development personnel works with design, manufacturing, and metallurgical personnel throughout the organisation, as well as external research bodies such as CSIRO and clients, in the pursuit of improved technology for the physical separation of fine mineral ores

Our dedicated program of Research and Development consistently delivers enhanced performance for our existing range of equipment and delivers pioneering breakthroughs including: use of light weight, durable spiral separators for fine coal beneficiation; refined design of high capacity spirals enabling up to 40% reduction in plant footprint for the same throughput; advances in electrostatic separation technology that improves separation and reduces circulating loads significantly; and the Kelsey Jig which leads the industry in providing a solution for the most difficult gravity separations.

Mineral Technologies also works with clients to develop specific solutions to meet their operational needs through the application of research and development efforts in a partnering relationship.
