Comprehensive Feasibility Study

The Nuclear Materials Authority of Egypt (NMA) engaged Mineral Technologies in a wide ranging scope of work to review the 6 volumes of Pre-Feasibility Study that had been completed by the NMA and to validate the results.

The scope of work included: resource modeling and reserve estimations, mine planning, metallurgical testwork on bulk ore samples, flowsheet development, preliminary engineering design and material take-offs, capital and operating cost estimates, financial modeling, environmental impact assessments and marketing studies.

To assist in completing this work, Mineral Technologies sub-contracted four consulting companies, based in different countries, with expertise in the areas of environmental, resource definition and product marketing.
